Through our Outside Monitoring Program, we coordinate essential fertility testing—such as ultrasounds, bloodwork, hormone panels, sperm analysis, and even microbiome testing—with your local doctor or clinic. For patients traveling to Houston, we also provide access to short-term storage with our in-house Omni Med Laboratory and can integrate fertility-focused wellness services—like acupuncture, nutritional guidance, and stress-reduction support—around your treatment appointments.

What Is Outside Monitoring?

Outside Monitoring is a flexible option for patients seeking fertility treatment who may live out of town, travel frequently, or prefer to complete routine appointments closer to home. With this program, most routine testing and cycle monitoring can be done at a trusted local clinic or when you're near one of our AFCT locations, while our team oversees and manages your personalized treatment plan. This approach allows you to minimize travel while still receiving advanced care from AFCT.

Outside Monitoring Services We Offer

IVF & IUI Cycle Prep

  • Baseline hormone testing (AMH, FSH, estradiol)
  • Semen analysis and sperm function tests
  • Thyroid, adrenal, and immune screening
  • Antral follicle count ultrasound

Monitoring During Treatment
